2020 - The amount of cuteness was sometimes hard to Rock through.

2020 - I wonder how Jay was able to put up with my same studio meal. I devise a studio meal containing essentially canned fish, a piece of toast, a piece of cheese and several pieces of salad in order to maintain a nutritious diet and a good healthy fat so I wouldn't burn out. With this lean food I could do 8 to 10 hour recording sessions on a regular basis. However, the smell that is produced in the small professional stew that we worked in must've been excruciating for Jay, who is more of a Tim Hortons kind of guy. Furthermore the cats that inhabited the studio in the surrounding space were certainly under the Hipnosis of my lean food. Here we have Jackson in a state of anguished desire.

2020 - Online meetings and covid hair, in fact about half or more of all the 4 albums the recording and mixing was done remotely.

2019 - Getting the key sound just right!

2019 - Never ending drum tuning and sound tests. Here Jay is muting a snare drum top.

2020 - Jay sings the country song Caribbean Moonlight, featuring his choir of old men, a logic lead singing debut for Heartburn Hero.

2020 - Project organization has to start somewhere.

2021 - Online Meeting Gifs... Oo

2020 - Drum recording with Josh Lane... for 10 hours. Such a joy to air drum / conduct ! The next day the city of Toronto went into a full Covid lockdown where we were not able to see people. Luckily, I had 40 hours of drum recordings spanning five songs to edit and compile, so no time was wasted. That night Josh and Jay talked at length about get out and I had a beautiful time watching that film to!

2020 - Orchestral timpani rentals, we used them on many songs!

2021 - Yes folks that's a 36 inch orchestral bass drum.

2021 - Dear Josh on Timpani with brushes, for Mothers of the World.

2020 - Jay demonstrated our new friend: The 3 orchestral timpani.

2021 - Brian getting help on his banjo parts for Caribbean Moonlight, the country song sung by the old man choir. Special thanks to the albino seal.

2021 - Alex killing it on drums, one of the five drummers on the albums!

2022 - Sax and Clarinet recording sessions. Gabriel in Montreal records a 16 hours sax and clarinet session for the orchestral side of Heartburn Hero. Featured heavily on the second album Linen Barbarian.
